Pineapple Hotel Terms & Conditions1. ARRIVALS. Guests may occupy their rooms from 2pm onwards on the first day of their stay, earlier by prior arrangement. Guests, who arrive earlier due to flight/train/coach arrival times and their room is not ready, may leave their baggage, at their own risk, in the restaurant. 2. DEPARTURES. Departure must be by 10.00am to allow rooms to be prepared for incoming guests. A late departure will incur a charge equivalent to another nights stay. Rooms must be left in good repair and in a clean condition. Guests must yield up all keys to doors, windows and any other items belonging to the property. 3. ACCOMMODATION. Guest Accommodation is located in the MAIN HOTEL BUILDING AND IN THE HOTEL ANNEX, which is not attached to the main building, but meals are still taken in the main restaurant. Acceptance of an offer of accommodation will be considered to be an acceptance of accommodation in either building. 4. FEES . Fees for your stay are payable in advance by paying securely on-line using Pay Pal. Guests do not need to be a member of Pay Pal to use the service. 5. CREDIT CARDS. Debit/Credit cards are not normally accepted over the phone as a means of inceasing security for clients and to reduce possible fraud. All credit/debit cards are subject to a 3% card processing fee at all times. When a booking is paid for by persons not staying at The Pineapple Hotel; the credit card owner must be aware that they will also become liable for any debts incurred by guests for whom they have paid to stay at the Pineapple Hotel. The said credit card will be considered to be a guarantee of full payment by the card owner and will, therefore, be treated in accordance with para 6 & 13 regarding refunds and damages . Guests who wittingly or unwittingly provide incorrect credit card details at the time of booking risk having their booking cancelled. 6. REFUNDS. Full refunds will only be given when guests cancel their stay and give at least 4 wks notice. Between 3 & 4 weeks notice will incur a 25% room rate charge. 2-3 weeks notice will incur a 50% room rate charge and 1 & 2 weeks notice will incur a 75% room rate charge. In all other cases including 'no shows' we reserve the right to charge the full rate for the period of guest's expected stay at the Pineapple Hotel. All refunds are subject to a minimum £5 admin fee. 7. SHORT NOTICE BOOKINGS. Guests who book rooms 4 weeks or less before their intended arrival will be entitled to a 48 hour cooling off period to amend or cancel their stay without penalty. Following this period, see a para 6 for guidance. 8. NO NOTICE CANCELLATION. Guests (inc parties) already staying at the Pineapple Hotel for longer than one night who wish to curtail their stay must give at least 24 hours notice of their intended early departure. Failure to give sufficient notice will incur a penalty equivalent to the rate for their booked room for one night.
9. INSURANCE. The property is insured by the landlords, but the guest is liable for the first £200 of any claim made which was the fault of the guest, or their guests. Guests are also responsible for insuring their own belongings. Guests are not to do or permit anything to be done which might make void the insurance of the landlord, or occasion an increase in the premium. Any increase in the premium due to guest's actions may be charged directly against them. 10. BEHAVIOUR. Guests can also have their stay curtailed due to inappropriate behaviour which might cause a disturbance or offence to fellow guests, hotel staff or neighbours. Principle guests/party organizers are responsible for the actions/behaviour of their group and as such will be held accountable especially where fees/charges are levied. 11. DRUGS. Guests are not to have any drugs, or other illegal items on the premises other than over the counter drugs and drugs prescribed by a medical practitioner. 12. PETS. Guests are not to keep pets at the premises, without the consent of the Landlord. 13. DAMAGES. Guests are to keep the premises in good repair. Guests are to report to the landlord any damage to the property or contents. Appropriate charges will be made for any missing items or damage occurring to Pineapple Hotel property as a result of actions by paying guests (See Paragraph 5) 14. DANGEROUS GOODS. Guests must not possess any explosives or highly flammable materials or other dangerous substances during their stay, unless permitted by the landlord.
